We will be gathering this Sunday for worship and continued teaching from Genesis. We will move on from Noah to Abram!
Furthermore, we will gather again, around 5:30, at the Bluhm’s for Super Bowl party. Please bring some Super Bowl Food for the party!

Joanne found out today that her foot is not broken! She is still wearing the “boot” and is on crutches, but thankfully she isn’t having to deal with a fracture.

Bob White called to tell me that Joanne fell last night and possibly fractured her foot. X-ray has been done, but it will take 24-48 hours to get result back from Doc. She has already fractured one of her feet five times! Hopefully, this will not be a break! As I learn more, I will pass it along to you. Bob assured me that, for the moment, they do not need any assistance.

It is my understanding via the grapevine–Valorie, then Annis–that Douglas fell and broke his foot in a couple of places. He is in a cast for now, but in about three weeks he will have to have pins installed. I don’t think alcohol was involved, but I do know that Valorie keeps a jar of Moonshine in a cabinet.

Memorial Service for Neka Brandful this Saturday afternoon at 3:00 at GCF. I hope to see you then and there!

Wanted to remind you that we will have a memorial service for Neka Brandful this Saturday, January 14, 2011 at 3:00 PM at GCF.

In lieu of flowers, Mildred requests that donations be made that can be divided between Neka’s two sons. You can make a check to GCF and earmark it “Brandful.”

A memorial service for Aneka Brandful will be held at Grace Christian Fellowship on Saturday, January 14, 2011 at 3:00 PM. I want to encourage each of you to attend, if at all possible. I am sure it will mean much to Mildred.

Walter told me about a family whose electricity has been cut off due to non-payment. They have children. The husband is a roofer and without a job. Approximately $400 needs to be paid. If you would like to help, let me know Sunday. Thanks!!

This afternoon, knowing that Neka was very ill, I went to the hospital and Mildred and I went in to see Neka. Her BP was 60/35, kidneys barely functioning. This was her 31st day on the ventilator. I took Mildred to a funeral home to help her make arrangements for Neka’s cremation. Afterwards, I drove Mildred home. Just a brief time later, Neka’s physical body died. Her spirit is now with the Lord! A memorial service will be held at GCF, the date to be determined later. How I thank God for his perfect timing in all things!

Ralph has been taken to Northside Coliseum Hospital due to severe diarrhea and vomiting, along with a fall. As you might imagine, Data is not handling this very well. I will let you know more, as I know it!
