As you can see, dinner today was outstanding. The fellowship was better than the food! Travis & Jerry ate the most by far! I do not know how they ate so much. The waitress was so confused that she brought them an entire pie!

I guess they will have to repent!

I just learned this morning that Brennan Manning died yesterday (4/12/13). He was an incredible speaker and writer, one who had a significant influence in my life. Our loss is, indeed, Heaven’s gain!

I will always treasure his beautiful line: “Abba, I belong to you.”

Kevin just told me that Jan’s Dad has had a very bad heart attack and is in the hospital in Griffin. They are on the way there, as I type this. Please pray for her dad, and for Jan and Kevin.

Corinna called and asked me to ask you to pray for the Bishop family. They lost their house in Florida to Hurricane Hugo and moved to Gray, GA. They lost their house in Gray to the Macon Flood. Then they moved to Arizona and that house  just burned.

Wow! I would imagine that they are wondering if maybe God has forgotten about them. Oh, I know He hasn’t, but I would be wondering, even if they are not.

Kathy and Travis has spent the day in the ER at the Med Center. The last time I talked with Travis, it appeared that they would be there overnight. Kathy was having acute pain, as in the past. Let us pray that a diagnosis will be forthcoming!

I am looking forward to seeing each of you (and then some) tomorrow morning–RESURRECTION MORNING!

Thanks so much to each of you who attended Data’s Day at Flint River Memory Care Center! I am confident that she appreciated it, even though she will not remember it. I am also confident that each of you left full of cake!

Travis told me this afternoon that Kathy’s Macon doctors have referred her to doctors at Emory. She has an appointment Monday morning. Please keep her in your prayers and pray especially that these doctors can diagnose her problem.

Remember that the time changes this weekend. Spring forward one hour before you go to bed Saturday night!

Alan & Denise Parker have a new grandson: James Alan Boone. He weighed in at 9 lbs and 1 oz; 20 3/4 inches tall. He was born March 4, 2013 at 10:17 PM at the Medical Center of Central Ga.

Congratulations to the Parkers and the Boones!
