A Huge Thank You!

What an incredible day at GCF! I truly appreciated your being there today! Wow! When the seats are filled as they were today, I get excited (even more than usual!). Simply put: I was born to preach and teach the gospel and when the seats are filled, the fire in my belly is fanned to white heat!

A huge “thanks” to each of you!

Grace to you!

Mac

Data Whitehead

This morning (3/29/2014) around 11:30 Data Marie Whitehead was escorted into The Presence of Jesus. Her physical journey is now over and she has met Jesus face-to-face in all of His glory. She has longed for that moment for many years! Funeral service will be graveside at Riverside Cemetery at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, April 1, 2014.Image

A Reminder!

Spring is officially here, which calls for the “Hallelujah Chorus!” AND, I might add, it is Friday and Sunday is coming, which calls for priorities to be in place so you will be where you are supposed to be! “Moving on Toward Maturity” seems to be the theme, so saddle up and get ready to ride.

I will see you at GCF and 10:02 AM on Sunday morning!

Grace lavished,

Mac

YES! Tomorrow is Sunday and the Time is the Same as Last Sunday!

Good morning!

Just a friendly reminder that tomorrow is Sunday and we ARE gathering for a special time.

“For every high priest taken from among men is appointed on behalf of men in things pertaining to God, in order to offer both gifts and sacrifices for sins; he can deal gently with the ignorant and misguided, since he himself also is beset with weakness; and because of it he is obligated to offer sacrifices for sins, as for the people, so also for himself. And no one takes the honor to himself, but receives it when he is called by God, even as Aaron was” (Hebrews 5:1-4).

Aren’t we glad Jesus was the High Priest not taken from men, as was Aaron?!

See you in the morning to worship and to hear what He has to say to us!

Joanie Adams

Joanie posted the following on Facebook this AM. Please keep her in your prayers! A triple fusion!

Ok I am set for surgery on March 12th early in the morning. The doctor will be doing a triple cervical fusion (C5-7). I will be out of work for 8 to 12 weeks and cannot ride in a car for 6 weeks. I am a little worried about this surgery but I know I can’t go on in this kind of pain much longer. Your continued prayers would really be appreciated!!

Joanie, we all love you and are willing to do whatever we can for you!

Grace and peace,

Mac

Moses

I found this picture, after much research, of Moses on Mt. Nebo looking at the Promised Land from a distance! Wow! Now for the question: Since we know he did not enter the Promised Land, where is he now?

Question #2: What is the Promised Land?

The Gift of Eating!

There is no way around it: some people have the gift of serving, some the gift of teaching, others the gift of hospitality, some even speaking in tongues; however, a few have the gift of EATING! One of them is pictured here, the other should be obvious. I will give you a hinImaget: the first letter of his first name is “T”, the second is “r”, the third is “a”, the fourth is “v”, the  fifth one is “i”, and the last one is “s.”
