Announcement!

Good afternoon, everyone! I received this email from Paige Reeves. Please read it and respond accordingly. Thanks so much! Mac

Mac,

I have created a food schedule for Eddie and Carolyn, for the days Carolyn is feeling under the weather.  I just wanted to let everyone at church know about it, and figured emailing you was the best way.  If you could (in all your spare time) send an email to everyone or post on the blog about it and let people know to email me so that I can invite them to view the schedule, that would be super great!  The website is called foodtidings.com, but I want to keep their information under wraps, hence the reason I would like people to email me for an invite.
Thanks, Paige

Wednesday Night Bible Study

Several of you informed me that you would like to begin a Wednesday night Bible Study, so in my attempt to accommodate your wishes, I am asking you to let me know if you would like to be a part of it. My intention is to begin the study on Wednesday evening, March 14 at 6:30. We will meet at the church. The title of the study is: A Systematic View of the Essential Elements of the Doctrines of Grace. Just for the record, we will begin promptly at 6:30 and end promptly at 8:00.

If you would like to attend (no pressure, please!), please so indicate by leaving a comment on this post.

Blessings!

Mac

A Reminder!

Chittlins

We are having a covered dish dinner following our service this Sunday! Please plan to attend and bring a dish filled with yummy food. I will be at a Chitterlin’ lunch tomorrow down in Cordele. Hopefully, there will be some leftovers, so I can share them with you.
See you Sunday!!

Praise Reports!

Just wanted to let you know that Carolyn started her chemo treatments on Thursday and everything went well!

Also, Roger got the report from his recent CT scan and there have been no changes since October! A good report, indeed!

Hopefully, each of you is planning on being at GCF in the morning at 10:00. I am surely looking forward to it! We will be continuing our study of Genesis, especially Abram and his detour to Egypt.

Some feedback, please . . .

Before I say what I want to say about today’s service, I want some feedback from you. Please? Just express your honest thoughts about the service we experienced today (Sunday, February 19, 2012).

Thank you very much!
